28th Oct 08Donegal Winter Track and Field

A Winter league Track and Field Competition will take place on Saturday
November 1st 2008 at the Danny McDaid Track in Letterkenny.

Proposed events and order are as follows

11.15 am 60 Metre Sprint

11.15 am Shot Putt

11.40 am 300 Metre

11.30 am High Jump

Entry cost is 5 euro per athlete (payable on the day)

Athletes may enter any number of events
Each athlete will be awarded a time and/or distance for their event

Competition is open to all ages between 13 and masters

All clubs must provide 2 offcials if they are taking part.

Please let me know the names of the officials before Thursday

28th Oct Bernie Ryan Jackie Mc Monagle Declan McCarthy Dermott Connolly Gerard Duddy Gerry Lynch Sammy Mc Ananey all selected for international duty.

Also North West XC Race on 20/12 as part of the Vets Winter League.

19th Oct - Comber Results Trials for NI Team - Declan McCarthy 1st M45, Dermot Connolly 5th, Gerry Duddy 6th. Gerry Lynch 1st V60, Malcolm 5th V55, Bernie Ryan 2nd FV 45. Going was heavy. 6 on the team in each age group so looking good for the "Senior" Spartans.

Reminder to all club members to wear their club vests in local competition.

Tuesday -Seniors 6:00pm

(Juveniles - 7:00pm)

Thursday - (Juveniles Templemore- 7:00pm)

Seniors 6.00 in St Coulmbs Park or Gransha

Saturday morning

Seniors Gransha 11am

Juveniles St Columbs Park
