Pauric McKinney won last Friday nights Lifford 5K,his 15m 30secs seeing him home ahead of Aaron Doherty's 15m 55secs with Ivan Toner third on 16m3s. Lifford results here

Buncrana 5K winner Joe McAllister clocked 67m 46s to take last Wednesdays Lisburn Half Marathon honours after a battle with Omaghs Stephen Duncan who made the early runnin.g,on 67m 51secs with North Belfasts Connor Magill a distant third on 72m 51s. Tullamore Harrier Pauline Curley posted 77m even for a comfortable womens race victory as a total of 1222 runners finished.

Duncan turned out again last Saturday to win the Dromore,Co Tyrone 10K with an impressive 31m27s,well ahead of Foyle Valleys Pius McIntyre on 36m13s andJulie Butler of Omagh clocked 39m 4s to claim the womens honours. Another big turnout here of 622 finishers.

Coming up this Friday night is the Aghyaran 5K with a 7 30pm start, race five of the Furey Insurances 5k Series will take local road runners to Carndonagh next Wednesday. Poster here
