Book Launch -'Donegal's Sporting
Greats
You are invited to the launch of a new book 'Donegal's Sporting
Greats' which will take place in the Mount Errigal Hotel,
Letterkenny on Friday, November 5th at 8.30 pm.
Donegal's Sporting Greats chronicles the trials and lives
of ten of the county’s very best sports’ stars,
expertly captured in their moments of triumph and despair
by one of the county’s best-known journalists Ciaran
O’Donnell.
You will laugh. You will cry. And there are moments of overwhelming
joy and deep sadness. Most of all, it is a book that you will
want to read right through to the end.
Each sportsperson talks frankly about what it’s really
like to be at the top – and what it can feel like to
be at the bottom.
Each of those featured reveals their innermost thoughts as
our county and our nation watched on from the sidelines, each
opening their minds and hearts – many for the first
time.

to Irish children’s charities
