Defending champions City of Derry Spartans
are top of the Northern Ireland Young Athletes’ League with
just one fixture remaining of the qualifying rounds.

The Derry youngsters have raced into a massive
303 points lead over Regent House from Newtownards with neighbours
Olympian doing well to hold down third place.
City have one remaining match at Magherafelt with
the top six teams progressing to the final in Antrim on July
26. The winning club then goes forward to represent Northern
Ireland at the National Finals in Birmingham.
