Roberts held on for second some 23 seconds back with Inishowen's Dermot Sweeney consolidating his overall lead in the Series with a fine third in 16:45. Declan McCarthy was the first master across the line in fourth place with a 16:51 clocking.

Lagan Valley's Rhona Harkens made the trip home to her native city to lift the ladies' prize in 19:48, well ahead of the host club's Paula McGilloway, 21:32. Evelyn Crampsie, daughter of Donegal running legend Michael Crampsie took third a further ten seconds back.
